Schwantesii v. urikosensis C248 show some progress. :)

Not much is happening on the windowsill these days. Some seedlings are regenerating, adults as well, but very slowly (that's okay, no rush). The Frithia seedlings are doing really well in their new pot, growing new leaves, getting bigger. I was hoping the Titanopsis would bloom but they don't seem to be active. Maybe in a month, like last year. Also, a couple more of the flowering stones have grown seed capsules even though I haven't pollinated anything. Nice to know they still try to fulfill the life circle.

My youngest Lithops seedlings (sown on the 9th of October) are slowly getting a little succulent. Here are the bromfieldii v. glaudinae 'Rubroroseus'  (amazing germination rate: 27 out of 27 seeds sown) and aucampiae ssp. euniceae 'Bellaketty' (of which I only had 5 seeds and now 4 seedlings, yay!). I'm glad to see Rubroroseus kids showing some color and looking forward to watching them grow. :)

Lithops look really bad this time of the year but it's a good thing and means they're healthy. :) The one-year-old leaves are all wrinkly and soft while the new, fresh ones are already visible. The bromfieldii v. glaudinae seedlings from 2010 are obviously finally in the annual rhythm of the grown up plants... ... and most of the one-headed bromfieldii v. insularis 'Sulphurea' are growing two heads this year.
